Triathlon events


Swim, bike and run is a hugely popular combination. And on Mallorca, you’ll be able to indulge your inner triathlete with tons of events, varying from full distance Ironman’s to Sprint- and Olympic distance triathlons. Some of our fav’ events include Challenge Peguera, the Portocolom triathlon (a great local race), and of course the famous Zafiro Ironman 70.3 Alcúdia-Mallorca, one of the biggest middle-distance events in Europe. No matter which race you choose, you’ll find yourself swimming in the clearest waters, cycling up challenging climbs and running with the sea breeze on your face. It doesn’t get much better than this!


Bike races


If you’re more of a two-wheel enthusiast, we have something for you too: the Mallorca 312 bike race. This legendary event is held every year in Spring and is truly one of a kind thanks to the beauty of the course and the large number of participants. Starting in Playa de Muro, there are three courses to choose from which each vary in distance: 167km, 225km and 312km. All three routes take in the Tramuntana mountains, where your legs will have to work hard to push you up the unforgiving climbs. Well worth it, if you ask us!


Tennis tournaments


Thanks to tennis superstar Rafael Nadal, tennis has become synonymous with Mallorca. With our island now firmly on the map of tennis pros, there are a few events that draw in the biggest of names, including the Mallorca ATP Championships. Held between the months of June and July at the Mallorca Country Club in Santa Ponsa, it’s a fun and buzzing event that you shouldn’t miss out on. One tip: book your tickets fast, as the event sells out quickly.


Golf tournaments


Lovers of the fairways will know that there is no shortage of golf courses on Mallorca. In fact, there is one in every corner of the island! And each of these clubs hosts annual golf tournaments for both pros and amateurs. Some of the most prestigious tournaments include the Peter Wackel Golf Trophy at the Son Gual Club, which takes place on the 15th of July, the Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final held at the exclusive Club de Golf Alcanada from the 2nd to the 5th of November.
